Anna Elizabeth Ehrlund

Anna Elizabeth Ehrlund, 97, died September 5, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Vancouver, Washington.

Anna was born in Naselle on August 14, 1921 to Otto and Milga (Kolback) Wirkkala at her home on So. Valley Road.
She attended school in Naselle, graduating with the class of 1939.

Anna was married to William C. Ehrlund on November 22, 1939 in Longview, Washington.  She was a member of Naselle Evangelical Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School. 

Anna was active in planning the Finnish/American Folk Festival until her health failed.  She was a second generation American, proud of her Finnish heritage.

Bill and Anna were parents of three children:  Karen Jones, Nancy Chamberlin (Roy) and Evert Ehrlund (Rowena).  Besides her children she is survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 15th, 2018, 1:00 PM at Naselle Lutheran Church.  Concluding graveside rites at Peaceful Hill Cemetery, Naselle.  Reception following at the church.
