Ocean Park resident Walter E. Wollen, 65, died at his residence of cancer on January 8^th, 2018. Born May 28th, 1952 in Portland, he was the son of Albert and Roberta Wollen.

A tragic accident in Walt’s youth brought him briefly to the gates of heaven. He never forgot and from that moment on became his mission in life; leading people to salvation. Walt in life was passionate about listening, writing, singing, and playing music. He enjoyed anything sports, specifically football, and spending time with his family and friends.

Walt is survived by his wife Rhonda Wollen, whom he married February 14th, 2011 in Ocean Park, and by their children and grandchildren:   sons: JR Wollen, Chris Herman, Charles Smith, Steven Thornton and daughter-in-laws Jennise Housel and Christa Stephens; grandchildren Zayla Wollen, Domanic Smith, Paige Thornton, Christopher Smith, Madison Smith, Abigail Smith and Zaidyn Smith. Walt is also survived by his brothers Gordon and Bert Wollen.

Walt has touched many lives and will be sorely missed.
