Allen Lee Prater

Allen Lee Prater, 85, a devoted husband of 54 years, passed away at home in Long Beach with family near him, knowing that the Lord had his room ready.

Allen was a devoted family man. His job came first which was 40 years of mechanics. He moved from California to be near his three sons. He made his home in Long Beach for 12 years. He liked riding his bicycle to the beach and around town with his bird Polly on his shoulder. What a conversation piece he had with people.

Allen enjoyed riding his bicycle with his wife Judy around the country. They had been camp hosting for ten years. He also loved to ride his Harley all the time and enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors with family.

Allen has one daughter, Carol; three sons Steven, Robert and Ray; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
