Sharon Lynn Calabreese

February 25, 1937 — September 5, 2015

Sharon Calabrese Winterburn passsed away peacefully on September 5, 2015. She was born February 25, 1937 in Bellingham, Washington to William and Florence (Macrea) Winterburn. Sharon attended Bellingham Elementary and Bellingham High School. She met the love of her life, Jerry Calabreese, in 1964. They lived in Grandview, Washington until 1989 when they retired to Long Beach. Sharon worked for the Edgewater Inn Motel for many years as a receptionist. She loved to do cross stitch and made many beautiful pieces. She was also an avid reader and stamp collector. Sharon is survived by her brother Doug Winterburn of Arizona; five daughtersKim Burroughs of Bellingham, Kristi Hawley of Long Beach, Kelli McDonald of Sumas, WA, Karen Stewart of Long Beach, and Kathy Beard of Everett, WA; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, brothers William Winterburn and Steven Winterburn, and sister Susan Shoemaker. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
