Elma Christner

Elma Bernice Dobbs Christner was born on January 24th of 1922 to William Dobbs and Dorris Adaire in Elma, Washington. She lived in Washougal, Washington from 1963 to 1998. In 1998 she moved to Ocean Park, Washington where she lived with her husband LaVern Christner. Elma loved to cook, camp, hunt and fish. She especially loved to garden. She had a green thumb and her yard was always in bloom. Elma's home was filled with her teacup and cookie jar collection. LaVerne and Elma were members of the Moose and Eagle Lodge, which she attended until her husband's passing. She loved animals and spending time with her family. Elma is survived by her sister Pratreva Chitwood, her four children Carlina White (Kenny W.) Larry Short, Shirely & Ike Bullock, Rayetta Kenworthy, 30 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren, give or take a few.
