Sandra Starling, 57, was born January 21, 1958 in Vancouver, Washington and she died as a result of complications from cancer at home in Long Beach, Washington on March 12, 2015. Sandy was a loving person, a born again Christian who devoted her life to spreading the gospel of the Lord. She took time to speak to every person she met and her work continued up until the last. She wanted everyone to know the salvation that Jesus Christ offers. Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Winston, sister Patricia Winston, and her brother Raymond Winston. She is survived by her husband of 40 years James Starling; children Latresha and Sumer Starling of Long Beach, Andrea Starling of Vancouver, WA, Derik Starling of Vancouver; grandchildren Tyler and Eve Swank of Vancouver; brother Daniel Winston of Battle Ground; and her father William Winston of Battle Ground. There will be no service because for a believer to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord II Corinthians 5:8. If you would like to make a memorial donation in Sandy's honor, please continue her work for the Lord by donating to the Wings of Eagles Program through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to bring home Jews to Israel at 800-486-8844 or to the Kingdom Sat Program through Leading the Way to spread the Gospel worldwide at https://www.Itw.org/en/web/guest/donate/donate-a-donation or Leading the Way, PO Box 20100, Atlanta, Georgia 30325. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints Psalm 116:15 But I would not have you ignorant brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. 1 Thess. 4:13-14. Sandy's last message to the world was "seek the Lord with your whole heart, and remember that the Lord will not always strive with man."
