William "Billy" Snook

William E. "Billy" Snook, 68, died February 3, 2014 in Longview. A native of Tillamook, he was a 30 year resident of Ocean Park. Bill was a master mechanic who took pride in his skills on automobiles of past vintage. He was a founding member of the Beach Barons car club of Ocean Park and for years was active in the annual Rod Run To The End of The World. Bill was a veteran of the US Army. He and his late wife Roxy were partners in their numerous automotive endeavors. Bill was step-father to her three children who survive as do seven grandchildren. Bill's family and friends gathered at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea to honor his life and celebrate his memory. Private inurnment will be at Ocean Park Cemetery.
