Mary Jane Gerome

Mary Jane (Gerome) Foulks, 95, died February 9, 2014 in Shelton, Oregon. The daughter of Alfred and Mary Walker, Mary Jane's family were Portland residents and also pioneer settlers of Seaview. Mary Jane spent much of her youth in Seaview where she made many life long friends. To hear "Fuzzy" (her Ilwaco childhood nickname) tell the story, her life was filled with adventure and romance among the rich and famous and also among the not-so-rich and not-so famous before returning to her roots on the Peninsula, living in Ilwaco following retirement. Survivors include her daughter, grand-daughters and other family members. At her request, a private burial will be in the Walker family plot at River View Cemetery in Portland.
