Brian "Charlie Brown" Anderson

December 24, 1960 — October 18, 2012

Brian William Anderson, 51, also known as Charlie Brown, died in Ilwaco on October 18, 2012 of natural causes with his daughter Ashley at his side. Charlie was born in Ilwaco on December 24, 1960 and lived all his life between Grays River and Long Beach. He graduated from Naselle High School in 1979. Charlie loved the outdoors and was an excellent wood craftsman, gifting many people with his work. He never met a stranger in his life and everywhere he went he could tell a good joke. He had many hobbies he enjoyed, among them antiquing, collecting old bottles, old presidential memorabilia and anything Studebaker or Marilyn Monroe. Charlie had a special love for his family and could tell stories many of us had long forgotten. Although at times he was cranky and cantankerous above all he loved to make people laugh. Charlie, you take a part of us with you, but leave a part of you with each of us to hold in our hearts and memories forever. Rest in peace. Charlie is survived by his daughter Ashley Goin of Beaverton, OR; granddaughter Julia Goin; siblings Kathy Crayne of Big Timber Montana, Bruce and Beverly Anderson of Poulsbo, WA, and Sharon Bighill of Otis OR; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a wealth of friends. No service is planned. His guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com
