Patrick John McCrea

August 21, 1971 — May 18, 2012

Patrick John Mc Crea, age 40, died May 18, 2012 in Ocean Park. He was born on Aug. 21, 1971, in Glendale, Calif., to Paul and Karmel Mc Crea. He loved his life on the Peninsula with his new wife of three months, Wendy, his son, Cayden and his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. He will be sorely missed. He was so happy here and was in a good place in his life. He had a charming smile and contagious laugh - everybody loved to hug him. Patrick was an accomplished artist and was well-known for his tattoo artwork. He was very talented and a hard worker. Survivors include his wife and son on the Peninsula; a daughter Katrena and granddaughter of Salt Lake City, Utah; a son, Blaze and a daughter, Sadie of Modesto, Calif.; daughter, Erin and son-in-law Chris and grandchildren, Abigail, Amberlyn and Logan of North Carolina; a brother, Andrew and his wife, Darlene and their children, Dustin, Valerie, Aaron, Skylor and Chantell; his lifelong buddy and sister, Lauren and her children, Asia and Sterling; a brother Kyle of the Peninsula; his adored sister, Britt and her husband Jon and children, Lundyn, Sutton and Kensington; his father and stepmother, Paul and Udelia Mc Crea; his mother and stepfather, Karmel and Karl Wilen of Ocean Park; his uncle Vic and Aunt Olive of England and Aunt Diane of Texas. A son and grandson preceded him in death. A service will be held at 5:30 pm., on May 24, at the Long Beach branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He's at home now. We will miss him so much but will see him again soon.
