Denise Rose Schmitz

Long Beach resident Denise R. Schmitz, 47, died in Ilwaco on December 31, 2010. Born on July 4, 1963, Denise was a native of Pendleton, Oregon, the daughter of Vance and Phyllis (Bishop) Doucette. She grew up in the Pendleton area. Denise was employed in construction and as a self-employed cosmetic representative. She moved to the Peninsula a year ago. A member of the Assembly of God Church, Denise enjoyed playing guitar, riding motorcycles, camping, arts and crafts, and decorating. Denise is survived by her parents Cliff and Phyllis Vrizendine; children Dwayne Sheets, Denille Fontana and Rachel Schmitz; brother Bryan Vrizendine; and grandchildren Jazmine, Dakota and Emily.
