Christopher Jon Drewitt, 51, a native of Manchester, England, died at his Ilwaco residence on June 15th, 2020. The son of Keith and Patricia (Smith) Drewitt, he was born May 16, 1969. He grew up in England where he was raised by his grandmother.
On February 25, 2014 he married Beverly Linley. They lived in Florida where Bev was employed in government service prior to retirement. They moved to the Peninsula in 2012 and two years ago bought their first home locally. Chris had been employed as sales director for several car rental agencies.
Chris enjoyed time with his canine companions, taking care of other people's yards, working and remodeling his home, and most of all, spoiling his wife with quality time and laughter. In keeping with his English heritage, Chris enjoyed European football (MCFC).
Beside his wife of the family home, he is survived by his parents Keith Drewitt and Patricia (Trish) Smith; children Nathan Clarkson Drewitt, Matthew Drewitt and Elizabeth Drewitt; brother Nicholas Drewitt and Carl Drewitt; and sisters Katie and Karen—all of whom reside in England. Also surviving are 8 nieces and nephews.
At his request, his cremated remains will be returned to England and interned with his paternal grandmother. His guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
