David Edward Urmanski

David Edward Urmanski, born on January 14, 1939, in Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away on September 16, 2025, at St. John's Hospital in Longview, Washington. He lived life to the fullest, embodying a spirit of adventure and spontaneity, and is remembered for living life for the moment. He married Anna Urmanski, with whom he shared a remarkable fifty years of marriage.

David's early life was marked by his decision to join the Army at the age of 17. As a combat infantryman and paratrooper, Anna notes that he "jumped out of perfectly good airplanes", which is an impressive feat considering his fear of heights. He bravely served in Vietnam for three years and after his military service, David worked as a plumber and carpenter, showcasing his skills and determination. David also had a passion for landscaping, reflecting his appreciation for the beauty of nature.

David leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Anna, his son, Daniel Urmanski, his son-in-law, Victor Larson, his daughter-in-law, Sharee Orr, and multiple grandchildren. His legacy of dedication and love will continue through them.

He was predeceased by his father, Edward Urmanski, and his mother, Anne Urmanski Polinski. He is remembered by his family and friends for his vivacity and zest for life.
