Eleanor May Wulff, born in 1930 in Portland, Oregon, passed away on November 25, 2025. Eleanor spent her early years in the community of Hopewell in the Mid-Willamette Valley. After graduating from Amity High School, she moved to Salem, where she married Edward Clark Wulff in 1955 and devoted herself to raising their family.
Eleanor and her husband Eddie shared a passion for square dancing. In addition, Eleanor was a dedicated and faithful member of Englewood United Methodist Church. Professionally, Eleanor worked as a secretary at the YMCA before becoming the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, a role she held for many years. Later, she turned her candle-making hobby into a successful business, Candle Castle Originals, which she operated until her own retirement in 1995.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Barbara Wilder of Ocean Park, WA; Lee Wulff of the Philippines; and Genny Gager of Colbert, WA.
