Elizabeth Kinney

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Elizabeth Kinney, on August 18, 2024. Lizzy, born to Wendy Harrelson and Kevin Kinney on March 20, 1981, in Tarzana, California, touched the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Cleveland High School in Northridge and pursued her passion in hospitality.

Lizzy was not just a mother, sister, and daughter, but also a cherished friend and confidant. She was widely read and known for her bright spirit, compassionate heart, and infectious laughter. Lizzy's love for her family and friends was unparalleled, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her son, Ryker Matta, and daughter, Azrael Matta, both of Ocean Park, WA. Lizzy is also survived by her mother, Wendy Harrelson of Oroville, CA; her brother, Michael Wingfield of Paola, KS; her loving sisters, Holly Nickels (Wingfield) of Westlake Village, CA, Rachel Kinney of San Diego, CA, and Grace Harrelson of Oroville, CA, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.

Lizzy was authentically herself, always marching to the beat of her own drum. She was fiercely independent and deeply passionate about reading and sharing books. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her unwavering love, generosity, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone around her.
