Ethylmae Holmes Tryon was born on August 20, 1928, on a pecan (or nut) farm in Rockville County, Missouri to Mae Adeline Krull Holmes and Claude Ezra Holmes.
At age 2 months, she moved to Lincoln, Nebraska with her folks and lived there until the 2nd grade. Then, she moved to Mullen, Nebraska and graduated from grade school in 1942. She then moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska and graduated from high school in 1946.
Ethylmae married Horace (Pete) Weeth in July, 1946. Four children were born in this union. They then moved to Seattle, Washington in 1966. In 1967, she divorced Pete and married Alexander (Ozzie) Osborn. In 1970, she moved to San Jose, California with Ozzie. In 1973, she became a real estate broker and had her own business called P&O Properties. Ozzie passed away in 1991. She then met and married Blake Tryon in 1997 and moved to Long Beach, Washington.
She is preceded in death by her parents Adeline and Claude Holmes, daughter Sherry Nay, sisters Ila Fay, Judy Stellplfug, Carol Rein and husbunds Alexander (Ozzie) Osborn and Blake Tryon.
She is survived by her daughters Kathie Berry and Connie Wyman, son Doug (Sherry) Weeth, stepsons Gary (Lynda) Tryon and Jay (Lee) Tryon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and step grandchildren, all who Ethylmae (Pinky) will greatly miss.
