A 10 year old Doberman Pinscher died Wednesday July 13, 2022 in a tragic dog fight.

She was the guardian of Monica Torres who adopted her from Aimee Dean in 2016. Fancy was a scrapper and died protecting the people and property she loved. Fancy was a silly and happy dog who loved short walks, snacks, anyone who would pet her and she especially enjoyed snuggling with her people. Fancy’s two favorite pass times were disemboweling stuffed animals and chewing her blankets to shreds. Fancy’s disliked taking pictures, hiking, long walks, swimming and uber eats delivery drivers.

A kind and gentle soul, Fancy was known for mothering and adopting puppies and small children. In her youth Fancy worked as a therapy dog and later as Monica’s registered emotional support animal. Fancy was brave and fiercely protective of her Master, Monica and anyone she considered family. On two occasions Fancy bravely deterred two home invaders making her a hero.   

Fancy left behind a family who tolerated her neurotic behavior and were lucky enough to experience her devotion. 

Fancy leaves behind her Master Monica Torres and Cash the Doberman her adopted son. Jess Maney, her adopted Dog Dad, Anna and Ernie Rodriguez her granddog parents, snuggle buddy Minnie, Israel Torres, Cristian Torres, Alysa Torres, Mikey Rodriguez, Israel Romero, Aimee and Alicia Dean, Isaac, Monique, Dylan, Giselle, Jouquin and Amelia Rodriguez, friends Danielle, Jaidon, Amiyah and Masie Jurewicz and many other friends and extended family. Fancy was preceded in death by her buddy Clubber Lang.

A Private Home Funeral Pool Party is planned with Graveside Natural Burial Services on July 28th.
