Helen Oneal, a long time resident of the Long Beach peninsula, and her husband Bill Oneal, ran an ocean charter fishing service out of Ilwaco for over a decade.
Bill was a Mason and Helen was a 40 year member of Eastern Star. She also belonged to the Rebekahs. She was active in the community and volunteered at the local food bank as well at a Long Beach thrift store for many years.
Helen was a compassionate and generous soul. She loved decorating for the holidays, her overflowing flower gardens, her puzzles, books, pets and family. She is survived by her five children: Anita, Patricia, John, Terry, and Dianne. She died the Ides of March; she was 95-1/2 years old.
Her guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
