James C. Davis passed away on January 14, 2024, in Long Beach, Washington at the age of 52. Born on October 10, 1971, in Portland, Oregon to parents Calvin and Judy Davis, James was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of those around him and made a lasting impact with his skills and wonderful personality.


James was truly a man of many talents. He excelled as an auto mechanic, and was equally proficient and dedicated to his work in welding. When he wasn't in the garage, James could be found building, learning, and spending time outdoors with the people he loved. James was an avid fisherman, woodworker, artist, and technology enthusiast. He was a patient, creative, and curious man. 


James will always be remembered by his surviving family and friends as a loving son, brother, and father. He leaves behind his father Calvin J. Davis of Portland, Oregon, and his mother Judy P. Davis of Long Beach, Washington. His sister Christy G. Cloninger of Bend, Oregon, will forever cherish the memories they shared together. James also leaves behind two daughters, Jessica Percival of Arizona and Jaymie Davis of Portland, Oregon. 


In the hearts of those who knew him, James will forever be remembered as an exceptional individual whose boundless creativity and compassion left an indelible mark on the world. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on in the minds and hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a difference in this world through both his talents and his kind spirit.


There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family over Father's Day weekend in Ocean Park.
