Kris Eber Wallin

Kris Eber Wallin passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 71, in Long Beach, WA. Born on March 28, 1955 in Eureka, CA. Kris devoted much of his life to the sea, working as a commercial fishing skipper, navigating waters from Kodiak, Alaska, to Buena Ventura, Colombia.

Kris was known for his love for fishing, hunting, and tinkering on projects, a testament to his hands-on approach to life.

He leaves behind his wife, Diann Wallin; sons, Kristopher and Kori Wallin; daughter, Kelsea Wallin; brother, Erik Wallin; and sister, Keri Sue Cook. Kris was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nancy Wallin.

Kris's life was marked by a connection to the water, a legacy that will continue to inspire his family and friends.
