Michael Binder

August 18, 1951 — July 14, 2023

Michael Joseph Binder died on July 14, 2023 in Ocean Park, Washington. He was born on August 18, 1951 to Carl Binder Jr. and Helen Anne Conway. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Michael spent three years in the Army stationed in Germany. Michael moved from Wisconsin to the Portland, Oregon area to continue working as a technician in the vending machine industry. After retiring from Canteen Vending as a supervisor he moved to the Long Beach Peninsula. He enjoyed bird watching, growing roses, making stained glass, clamming, hosting family gatherings, playing Green Goblin with the grandsons and loving his dogs. For the last six months of Michael's life, he lived at Coastal Care Adult and Family Home where he was cared for by a staff of Earthly Angels. Michael loved his girls there and they dubbed him "The King." In his final months, his spirits were high, laughing, smiling, ordering the girls around, and having moments of clarity. He was happy and content and is now at peace.

Michael is survived by his son Aaron Michael Binder Spaete, his fiancée Linda Yvonne Reinhart, extended family Michael Tony and Brittaney Christine Berger, grandsons Braeden Tyler and Mason Louis Berger, granddaughter Bryanna Michael Jacques, great granddaughter Vivienne Wren Berger, great grandson Maverick Michael Jacques, sisters Barbara Ellen Stanton and Janice Marie Woitach, nephews Adam Christian Woitach, Christopher James, Brian Lawrence and Aaron Jacob Stanton, nieces Sherri Ann Kirk, Stacy Marie Woitach and Jennifer Ann Johns, four grand nephews, ten grand nieces, and one great grand nephew.
