Patricia Bolden

Patricia Sue (Davis) Bolden, 78, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on August 14, 2023.

“Patty” was born November 19, 1944, in Picher, Oklahoma, and moved to the peninsula at an early age where she was raised with siblings Mary, Alvie, Doc, Rocky, Joan, Joyce, Linda, and Phyllis. She was the seventh of nine children to Tom and Rachel (Turntine) Davis.

Patty attended Ocean Park Elementary and graduated from Ilwaco High School. She worked at Jack’s Country Store for over 25 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and traveling with her husband, Doug as well as spending time with her family. She never missed attending an event for her children and grandchildren.

Those that knew Patty describe her as kind, genuine, sweet, and a caring friend who loved her family deeply. Her family describes her as selfless, humble, stubborn, loving, a safe place to land, and very sweet with a bit of sass.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband Doug who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her daughter Dana (Ron) Clark, son Paul (Tara) Jarrett, grandkids, Megan (Zak) McDougall, Tyler, Derek, Jacqueline, and great-grandkids, Treyton, Tate, Madelyn, and numerous extended family members.

In keeping with Patty’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Ilwaco Sports Boosters.
