Patricia "Patty" Noyes

Patty Noyes passed away August 30, 2023 in Long Beach, Washington after a short illness at the age of 82.

Patricia “Patty” Rosetta Deggellar was born on October 24, 1940 in Seattle, Washington to parents Arlene Meyers Deggeller and Alfred “Lish” Deggeller. She married Tommy Noyes in Seattle on November 7, 1959. The young couple then moved to his parents’ ranch in Oregon where they raised their three children farming with Tommy’s parents and brother David Noyes. After Tommy underwent two lung surgeries and was no longer able to work the ranch, they moved to Long Beach, Washington in 1986. They owned and operated Evergreen Septic together with their two sons Claude and Wayne Noyes until Tommy passed away on October 16, 1999.

Patty lived between Long Beach, Washington and Gladstone, Oregon for the past seven years. She loved to visit with family and friends and was an avid traveler. She was a fun-loving member of the Red Hats Society for many years and loved the color red. She enjoyed designing and making unique quilts for people that represented the things they were interested in. She enjoyed watching birds and wildlife, wearing her jewelry, meeting new people and going on trips and adventures.

Patty is survived by her dear companion Robin Wilkinson, rescue dog Zena, sister Marilyn Schieffer, sister-in-law Ardith Noyes, her beloved Aunt Evelyn, daughter Tamra Hill, sons Claude and Wayne Noyes, and the many who called her Mom, Aunt Patty, or Grandma, as well as countless friends.

Patty is preceded in death by both her parents, sister Roberta Williams, Uncle Irvin Deggeller, her brothers-in-law Charles, Merle, and David Noyes, and husband of 39 years, Tommy Noyes. Her ashes will be laid to rest at the Summerville, Oregon Cemetery after a graveside service at 2 PM on October 21.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on October 14 at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea in Long Beach, WA.
